Forms of organisationFH degree programmes can be organised in various forms. The following forms of organisation are offered:
- full-time;
- part-time;
- full-time and part-time;
- target group-specific.
In addition to degree programmes that are available full-time only, there is a number of FH degree programmes that are offered both full-time and part-time or only part-time.
The FH sector is open to various forms of organisation and thus it gives, in particular, working people access to a scientifically sound and practice-based education or qualification at university level. Part-time FH degree programmes are explicitly tailored to the target group of the gainfully employed and are characterised by the fact that the schedule of the degree programme, the curricula, the teaching concept and also the entrance procedure are tailored to the needs and wants of gainfully employed persons.
The so-called "target group-specific" degree programmes have a particular scientific and teaching concept and are tailored for working students of a certain target group. The study period is usually one or two semesters shorter.
