Diploma supplement and diploma
In order to foster students' and graduates' international mobility, the competent federal minister shall lay down in a regulation the form in which the Diploma Supplement pursuant to Art. IX.3 of the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region, Federal Legal Gazette III no. 71/1999, shall be issued (cf. section 4 sub-section 8 of the Fachhochschule Studies Act (Fachhochschul-Studiengesetz, FHStG) as amended and regulation). In addition, an English translation shall be attached to the diploma; the name of the course-providing body, the issuing body as well as the academic degree plus additional designation shall not be translated (cf. section 5 sub-section 2a FHStG as amended).
