Statistics

In order to perform its responsibilities, the course-providing bodies of FH degree programmes and of Fachhochschulen must supply the FH Council with a variety of data. In the accreditation period, certain data with respect to applicants, students, staff and R&D are compiled and analysed each year. On the basis of this data, the FH Council also takes quality assurance measures.

The collection of data by the FH Council takes place according to the following legal bases: "Bildungsdokumentationsgesetz" (Education Documentation Act) and the "Bildungsdokumentationsverordnung für Fachhochschulen" (Education Documentation Regulation for Fachhochschulen) based on it as well as the "Fachhochschul-Studiengesetz" (Fachhochschule Studies Act, FHStG) and the "Verordnung des Fachhochschulrates über die Bereitstellung von Informationen über den Studienbetrieb" (Regulation of the FH Council on the provision of information concerning the study programmes as amended) based on it.

Some of this statistical data is published by the FH Council and updated annually.
